Kiev Simonfy

Hi, I’m Kiev, and music has always been a central part of my life. Growing up, our home was filled with guitars, and I spent countless hours simply immersing myself in sound. For many years, my engagement with music was casual, a constant backdrop to my childhood.

I truly believe that playing music should be fun. While I appreciate many different genres, I’m always drawn to groove, soul, and authenticity. Dedicating more time to music has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I find immense joy in sharing that passion with others. To me, that’s what music is all about!

I particularly love what the bass brings to music. It’s often subtle, but its impact is always profoundly important. Currently, you can find me laying down the low end in our local band, The Quarks, where we play funky instrumental music.
