Taking lessons too?
Band coaching pairs perfectly with private lessons. Students work on their own playing one-on-one, then bring it to the band.
Good to know
The fine print
Band coaching is designed for groups of 3 or more students. Students commit to at least 3 months of group lessons.
Groups meet weekly for 1-hour sessions, an average of 4 rehearsals a month. Tuition is $150 per student per month ($135 for Education Members), billed at the beginning of each month. Instructors have full discretion over the rehearsal schedule.
If a rehearsal falls on a holiday, the group won’t meet that week.
Each group has a dedicated instructor. If they’re unavailable, a substitute will lead the session.
In a month with 5 rehearsal dates, the instructor may take one week off or bank the extra session for a future vacation day. In a month with only 3, they may extend a class to make up the time or schedule a make-up session during a 5-week month.
