One-on-one instruction in a professional environment

Dedicated to your instrument and interests. Instructors will create a tailored lesson schedule based on your personality and learning style. In the first lesson, we discuss your interests, influences, and goals and create a strategy and timeline for execution. For younger students, we focus on building a foundation in a fun, engaging atmosphere. Private instruction at iAM MUSIC is lively, interactive, and insightful. Technique in the service of style, with a focus on every student’s individual needs; no two lessons are alike. Private lessons are billed monthly and are subject to instructor and studio availability.

2026 iAM MUSIC Lesson Pricing

General Information:

iAM MUSIC offers private lessons for students of all ages and experience levels in a welcoming, one-on-one learning environment. Whether you're just beginning or looking to refine your skills, our instructors tailor each lesson to your individual goals and musical interests.

Students may enroll as either an Education Member or a Non-Member. Both options provide access to the same experienced instructors and personalized instruction. The primary difference is the lesson rate and the additional benefits included with an Education Membership.

Lessons are typically scheduled on a recurring weekly basis. All lesson scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling are coordinated directly with your private lesson instructor. Once you register, your instructor will contact you to arrange your lesson schedule and will be your primary point of contact for any scheduling changes throughout the year.

Need help deciding which option is right for you? If you plan to take lessons consistently, an Education Membership offers significant savings and additional benefits. If you prefer more flexibility without an annual commitment, our Non-Member option may be the better fit.

Annual Education Membership

$250 per year (per student)

Our Education Membership is designed for students who plan to take lessons throughout the year. In addition to receiving our lowest lesson rates, members enjoy exclusive benefits that provide added value both in and out of the lesson studio.

Member Lesson Rates

  • Private Lessons: $70 per hour/ $35 per half hour

  • Lesson rate locked in for 12 months

Membership Benefits

  • Free iAM MUSIC T-shirt or hat

  • Free parent admission to all student showcases

  • Free parent admission to student performances

  • One complimentary single-day pass to the iAM MUSIC Fest

  • Discounted Band Coaching: $135 per month

  • Membership is valid for 12 months

  • Membership applies to one student only

For students taking lessons on a regular basis, the Education Membership can quickly pay for itself through discounted lesson rates while also providing valuable member-exclusive benefits throughout the year.

Non-Member Pricing

Students are always welcome to participate in private lessons without purchasing an annual Education Membership. Non-Members receive the same individualized instruction from our experienced teaching staff with no annual commitment required.

Non-Member Rates

  • Private Lessons: $80 per hour

  • Band Coaching: $150 per month

The Non-Member option is a great choice for students who are exploring lessons for the first time, taking lessons for a shorter period, or prefer to pay as they go.

If you decide to continue lessons throughout the year, you can always upgrade to an Education Membership to take advantage of discounted lesson rates and additional member benefits.

Nobody should be prevented from playing an instrument because they can’t afford one! This is why at iAM MUSIC, we offer free instrument rentals for students and do everything we can to get the right instrument into each student’s hands.

We try our best to offer financial support to students in need.

The "Fine Print"

Lesson Credit Expiration

If you have prepaid for lessons at iAM MUSIC, the lessons need to be used within 1 year of purchase. If they are not used within 1 year of purchase or a refund has not been requested, the lesson credits will expire and no longer be eligible for use or refund.

Discontinuation of Lessons

iAM MUSIC reserves the right to discontinue lessons if the student has an unpaid lesson balance past due of 90 days. If the student becomes current with lesson payments, we will consider rescheduling lessons based on availability, however the student will not be guaranteed their preferred teacher and lesson time.

Late Fees for Lesson Payments

A 10% late fee will be automatically charged for lessons that are overdue for 15 days.
