Cyle Talley

A performing and studio drummer, Cyle Talley has over 20 years of experience playing in bands, collaborating in sessions, and writing parts in the studio playing rock, pop, Americana, jazz, and gospel music. He is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter whose passion is playing the drums with lyricism, dynamism, and creating unique timbres to bring out color and detail in songs of all genres. His main project is the desert psych rock band, ORA, as well as his collaboration with singer/songwriter Westfield. The past year has also found him playing with post-rock band Ragged Oak and country/western with Cody Tinnin. Talley is equally adept at teaching the basic skills and vocabulary of the drum set as he is teaching advanced techniques and the more abstract notions of composing and creating music behind the kit.
