Ted Moore

Ted received his first snare drum as a birthday gift at the age of three and immediately began playing along with his favorite record—an LP of a military marching band performing “Waltzing Matilda.” A few years later, with the help of his father (a professional musician), Ted wrote one of his earliest songs, “I Wish I Had an Animal.”

He has been drumming and songwriting ever since, performing everywhere from Barrymore’s Ballroom in Ottawa, Canada, to the sidewalks outside King Kong Burger in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Now based in Durango, Colorado, Ted is a founding member of the band Mojo Birds and performs regularly with a variety of national and regional acts.
