BIO
Dana Ariel Stahl is a local Durango musician who grew up in the iAM MUSIC community—first as one of its earliest students and now as an instructor. Dana primarily teaches vocals and songwriting, as well as guitar, ukulele, and beginner piano.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music with a specialty in Songwriting through a Berklee College of Music Pathway Program in Melbourne, Australia, where she lived and studied. Dana is passionate about supporting each student’s unique journey, honoring all skill levels, genre interests, and personal goals while helping them grow as confident and expressive musicians.
As an artist, Dana performs Americana music throughout the Durango area and abroad. She writes and records her own original songs, collaborates with other artists, and performs with her band The Comin’ Up Roses.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Brandi Carlile, Norah Jones, and Amy Winehouse, Dana strives to create a welcoming, inspiring space where people can connect through the shared joy and magic of music.
