Bio
Gabe Neymark is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has been making music since the age of six. For Gabe, music has always been a lifelong outlet for expression and a way to build lasting friendships.
He began on piano before picking up the French horn in elementary school. Around that time, after being inspired by the Guitar Hero games, he decided to try guitar—and instantly loved it. In high school, Gabe played guitar in the jazz band, sang in choir, and performed lead roles in several musicals.
After graduation, he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. While there, he performed as a vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist in a funk-fusion band called The Great Salmon Famine.
Since moving to Durango, Gabe has been playing keyboards with The Eli Emmitt Band. His teaching focuses on helping students build the skills and confidence to share music with others and play collaboratively in a band setting.
